World War a new struggle started for Turks.Mustafa Kemal came to Adana in 31 October 1918 to take over commandership of Yildirim Army fromGerman General Limon Von Sanders.There Ataturk said "War miht be end for allieds ,but the war we are concerned ,our future's war is just now starting." as a sign of Turkish Independent War in Adana.At that time enemies had started to take over Adana and its region.Their aim was to found an Armenian State which back up European States.Between 1918-1919 enemies done torture and cruelty.Adana public were organized against these restraints and founded Kilkya Nationa Forces Organization.In 5 August 1920 Mustafa Kemal, Fevzi Cakmak and deputies came to P?zanti and made it city center and made Pozanti Congress.In October 1921 France was overcame and accepted T.B.M.M officially.In 20 October 1921 Ankara Treaty was signed.Due to this treaty France left Cukurova completely and the city center was moved to adana again.
