Location:The cave is located at the western slope of the deep and very steep Manavgat Valley which is to the southeast of Urdunlu village of Akseki District.
Transportation: The tarsporattion to the National Park is provided by Antalya- Ibradi- Urunlu roadway. It takes an hour to reach Altinbesik Cave from Village URunlu on foot.
Properties:Altinbesik whizh is a horizantal and active caves system takes its name from Altinbesik Hill located at the upper side. This part of Taurusses has a complex geologichal and geomorphological structure. Hard folds which were occured at the tersier period, are followed by the hard vertical rises.Altinbesik Cave was formed on the former lime srones.
The cave has 3 one after the other levels. The bottom and middle levels are active at rainy seasons and the upper side is always dry. the cave has a underwater stream function that collects and empties the underground waters of Aynif and other small polyes around. In autumns there are a lot of small ponds inside the cave. The sand and pebble accumulations inside the cave and current cavitites shows that there are underground streams with strong flows in springs at the middle and bottom levels.
At the upper level that lost all its activities ,the rocky blocks attract attention. The miidel level has riverbed peculiarity. Here rocky block take large parts, sometimes sand and pebble depots and travertine formations are seen. From the entrance of the cave the first 200 metres is the bottom level of the cave and this part is always under water.
At the ending of the bottom level there is a 40 ma steep exist. This exist and touching walls are covered with white thick travertines. This is the most beautiful part of the cave.
Else, the rich flora around the Altinbaeik Cave and the wild beauty of the karst topography forms the landscape values of the National Park.
Sightseeing: The main sightseeing of the National Park is Altinbesik Cave. But this area will open to the pubkic after some arrangements. Beside this the natural beauties Manavgat Valley presents are unforgettable and Urunlu Village which is a resort point as going to the National Parsk ,impres the tourists with its local architectury.
